A Jewish international camp seeks an experienced Camp Manager to oversee operations. The role requires strong organisational skills and a passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds. This year-round position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations: Manage daily logistics, scheduling, and facilities. Ensure safety protocols and compliance.
Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise staff. Address performance issues.
Camper Well-being: Ensure camper safety and foster an inclusive environment.
Program Development: Plan and improve camp activities with program directors.
Finance: Manage budget and report to the Yael Foundation.
Parent Relations: Address parent concerns and promote the camp.
Facilities: Oversee maintenance and plan future improvements.
Risk Management: Mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to the leadership team.
Qualifications
5+ years of camp management experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational abilities
Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus)
